You stay anchored right in the fishing grounds the entire trip — no running back to shore every night.

 

Daily Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival & Move to Catalina Island

Arrive in Long Beach by 7 AM. Enjoy a breakfast, cabin check-in, and safety briefing while EL EXPLORADOR gets underway. First stop is on the front side of Catalina Island to get the fishing started. You maybe go fishing from EXPLORADOR 31 or stay aboard EL EXPLORADOR as we troll our way to the backside of Catalina Island for CAT Harbor.  The evening plan is relax, enjoy the sunset, cocktails, and dinner on board.

 

Day 2 – Full Fishing Day

5:30 am coffee and breakfast. Full day fishing on the 31' sportfisher.

 

Day 3 – Morning Bay Fishing + Departure

Morning breakfast. Morning fishing session on the back side of Catalina Island. Lunch on the mothership, then we troll back to the front side of Catalina Island to see if we missed anything. Departing Catalina Island at 2 PM arriving back in Long Beach around 5 PM depending on how much trolling we do in the San Pedro Channel.

Of course this is our plan but could go out the window quickly if fish are somewhere else or the weather isn't in our favor.

You stay in pure fishing mode the entire trip.
